The Heat is On!

A New Approach to Network Security Analysis   

The security department of a major IT Services provider was looking for a dramatic way to introduce it's network security analysis software and services. They had decided that an Interactive CD was the answer, and had turned to their in-house design group to develop the content. A key element of the CD was to be a video intro that set the stage for a review of the product's capabilities.

JKT Media was brought in to both develop the script and produce and direct the video. Working with the in-house staff and the client, we developed a script including 3-D animation counter-pointing a medieval castle's defenses and a modern network environment, and live talent representing a sucessful hacker talking directly to the audience.

Animation was developed by in-house personnel under JKT Media guidance and direction, and union talent was hired and shot at a company location. Post-production was completed on an AVID Symphony so that the final product could be used in DVD format at trade shows as well as the primary interactive CD platform.

The intro video has been extremely well received, generating leads for the company and winning 3 industry awards (Aurora, AIiME and Creativity33). You may view the video below.
